MICRO SPRINT RULES
Marion County Speedway/ “The Bullring”
Stock 250 Micro Sprint Rules Package.
ALL ENGINES WILL BE MANUFACTURERS PUBLISHED BORE AND STROKE
250 2 Cycle
Any 2 cycle motorcycle or ATV engine 250cc or smaller as furnished by original manufacturer using stock appearance and parts available in original manufacturers parts book; IE no cool heads or vendor pistons larger than those available from manufacturer’s parts book. Cylinder porting is allowed. Clutch can be removed.
450 4 Cycle
Any 4 cycle motorcycle or ATV engine 450 cc or smaller as furnished by original manufacturer using stock appearance and parts listed in original manufacturer’s parts book: IE vendor pistons no larger than those available from manufacturer’s parts book. Stage 1 camshafts allowed.
All Micro Sprints minimum weight is 650 #, with driver. Any added weight must be securely clamped or bolted to the frame of the car, must be painted white and have a car number engraved in it. If a weight comes off on the track, that car will be DQ’ed from that race.
Pump gas, Race gas (Sunoco purple, VP C-12). No E85, ethanol or methanol. No Oxygenated Race fuel allowed.
Convention air foil center section one piece 10 Sq. Ft. minimum size 16 Sq. Ft Maximum size measured length X width of center section. Side boards will be 54”L x24”H maximum.
IF MCS RULES DOES NOT SAY YOU CAN/ THEN YOU CAN’T
- MCS always welcomes any and all other race classes and sanctioning bodies.
- MCS will run a Micro Sprint Limited Class as well. Please see MCS Limited Micro Sprint Rules Package.
- MCS will establish a rules package for a 270 Micro Sprint class. If there are any 270 Micro Sprints wanting to establish a series, Please contact us for class structure.
